🍗 Jollibee – New York, NY

Crispy, flavorful, and totally unlike your typical fast food 

On the night of July 2, 2025, at around 9:30 PM, I visited Jollibee’s NYC location — a Filipino fast-food icon that absolutely lives up to the buzz. Even at that hour, the place was full of energy, with a steady crowd clearly loving every bite. 

The Atmosphere 

The restaurant had high energy, and though it was busy (expected in NYC), it ran smoothly. You could order via front counter or self-service kiosks, which kept things moving efficiently. Guests around us were happily digging into their meals, and the vibe was upbeat, clean, and well-managed. 

The staff — young but professional — kept things moving with friendly service. 

 

🍽️ What We Ordered 

We tried: 

• Jolly Spaghetti with Chicken 

• 3-piece Chickenjoy with signature gravy 

• Steamed rice 

• Pineapple quencher 

• Biscuits 

The chicken was outstanding — perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy inside, and made even better dipped in the savory signature gravy. The Jolly Spaghetti, with its sweet-style sauce and chopped meats, was a totally different twist from traditional pasta — and it worked. The pineapple drink was bright, not syrupy, and refreshing. 

💸 Quality vs. Cost 

While a bit pricier than typical fast food, the portion sizes were generous and the food quality stood out. This wasn’t just about convenience — it was about a fresh take on traditional comfort foods from a completely different lens.
